How your information is handled
Symptom details are processed in application memory for the current conversation. This service does not save symptom histories or create a medical record. Starting over clears the conversation from the page. You may copy your summary locally.
Optional BetterBubble account
Sign-in is not required. If you choose to sign in through BetterBubble SSO, the app uses a secure, short-lived sign-in cookie to display your account name. Your symptom answers are not attached to the account or saved to a profile. Signing out ends the app session; it does not necessarily sign you out of other BetterBubble services.
BetterBubble AI and shared Knowledge
The symptom conversation sends what you type and your follow-up answers to BetterBubble's shared LLM service (Observer). Observer may retain prompts, responses and technical telemetry under its own platform retention settings. Knowledge/Qdrant is searched with a broad symptom category rather than your complete freeform text, and results are screened for recognized healthcare-source citations. The index is not necessarily a clinically validated medical corpus. Do not include identifying information.
Shared services and infrastructure
BetterBubble Knowledge can receive a general educational search query based on a broad symptom category, not your original symptom text. Optional AI wording, if separately enabled, receives only a broad category and never determines urgency. The app does not enable tracking analytics. However, the network edge, hosting systems and security services may log request metadata such as IP address, URL path and timestamp. This notice does not assert those logs or backups are absent.
Medical boundaries
This is an educational symptom organizer, not a healthcare provider or a medically validated diagnosis tool. Do not use it to rule out emergencies or decide whether you are safe. Seek immediate help through local emergency services for possible emergencies.
